Bonnie Kay Banks, 67, of Lincoln, DE peacefully went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at the Delaware Hospice Center, in Milford. Bonnie was born in Lewes, DE the daughter of the late Henry L. Banks and Mildred (Cooper) Bradford. In addition to her parents, she was recently preceded in death by her sister Margaret Ann Timmons and her brother in law, Bill Moore.
Most important to Bonnie were her family and friends, she was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, spending as much time with them as she could. She is survived by her son David Clendaniel (Machelle) her daughter Dana Zimmerman, and her son in law Josh Zimmerman; her grandchildren Erik Peterson (Wife Lindsi), Brooklyn Ranson - Williams (Wife Anna), Allen Clendaniel, David Zimmerman, Tristen Melhorn, and Caitlin Hawkins; her great grandchildren Paisley, Maverick, Rilee, and Colten; sisters Betty Moore and Crystal Wolf, brother Virgil Bradford; several nieces, nephews and cousins; her companion of many years Keith Pizzaia; and her best friends Butch and Brenda Tucker.
In Bonnie’s younger days, she enjoyed doing ceramics and roller skating. She loved to travel and has lived in many places, some of her favorites including Japan and California. As she got older, she enjoyed watching birds and playing cards with close family and friends. She has been a member of the Bethel Worship Center in Seaford for over 20 years.
A viewing will be held from 1 - 2 pm on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at the Bethel Worship Center, 26648 Sussex Highway, Seaford, DE where funeral services will be held at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the Bethel Worship Center , 26648 Sussex Highway, Seaford, DE 19973. Arrangements by Lofland Funeral Home, Milford.
