Ruth M. Jones

Ruth Marie Jones, age 87, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2024 in Milford Memory Care Unit, The Milford Center, Milford, DE. She was born in Johnson City NY , to Sylvia Lawson Bradley and Gretta Bradley. She was one of 4 children and several step siblings as well.

She was predeceased by the love of her life her husband of almost 50 years, Carlson R Jones, Sr. She was also predeceased by 2 brothers and one sister. 

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her brother Thomas Bradley and Ken and Sue Jones of Owego NY. 

She leaves 5 children to remember her. John (Sherrie) Jones of California, Robert (Jane) Jones of Wisconsin, Rosemarie (Ken) Tell of Delaware, Julie Arrowood and Carlson Jones, Jr., both of Virginia, as well as several nephews and nieces, grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Ruth was a homemaker and loved to travel and bake and cook for her many friends. She had several close friends that she considered more of family, including Brenda and Lee Butler of Knotts Island, NC.
